Below you can see some of the cool insects that I have seen in August and September of this year. There is also a picture of one of the HUGE toads we have that love to sit out under the light in the evenings to catch all the good insects. Enjoy!
My Peace Corps experience here in Paraguay as an environmental conservation and education volunteer. My site is located just north of Caaguazú, about an hour and a half by bus in a community named Yukyry Central. My service in Paraguay has provided a wide variety of projects, with an emphasis on organic gardening, waste management, and environmental education. Most recently, my community and I have been working on a biodigestor project.
